This is a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding Dynasty Goalkeeping.

Yes. Tracy has several male goalkeepers in her local training group and has trained males since her days as a Soccer Plus Goalkeeper Camp Director.

      3. Can students bring extra snacks and drinks?
Yes. However, we request that any snacks or drinks brought to camp be healthy choices. A major emphasis of the week is proper nutrition, and students should try to avoid snacks such as candy, soda or any other foods that work against what we are trying to accomplish.

      4. What type of evaluation will students receive?
The evaluations will be done in three forms:
        a. Video analysis: During the course of the week, each player will be videotaped in various technical and tactical situations. There will be narrative by Tracy addressing all appropriate coaching points.
        b. Individual meetings: Each player will get constant feedback on the field during the week. Before the player leaves, she will have a 1 on 1 meeting with Tracy to review the week and set goals for the upcoming year.
        c. Written evaluation: Each player will receive a narrative on her strengths and weaknesses in all aspects of the position: physical, technical, tactical, and psychological.

      9. How can I contact my daughter at camp?

      10. Can my child have her car at camp?
Yes, she may drive herself to camp, but we will require that the keys be turned into the Director until the end of camp.

      11. Will Dynasty Goalkeeping Academy have a waiting list for sold-out weeks?
Yes. The waiting list will be organized in the order in which the applications are received.

      12. Will Dynasty Goalkeeping Academy be making any trips off campus?
The Academy students may travel to a local grocery store as part of the nutrition component of this Academy.  In addition we may travel to other training sites in order to work with top local club teams to test their goalkeeping skills in a “live” environment.  This is dependent on the availability of local teams which cannot be predicted at this time.  We also traveled to a local stadium to watch the U.S. Women’s National Team play Canada in 2006.  These off campus trips are unique to this camp experience and we will certainly try to attend high level matches again in the future if possible to supplement the camp experience.

      13. How long is the camp?
The camp is 5 days long. Please check the schedule for exact dates.

      14. What happens if the weather does not cooperate?
We will train in the rain. In the event of dangerous conditions such as lightning or extreme heat, we have several indoor facilities available for training, strength and conditioning, lectures, or individual meetings.

      15. Can parents watch camp sessions?
Parents are welcome to watch their children at camp. For safety reasons, we ask that parents let the Director know who they are when they arrive at the camp facility.

      16. What is the student to staff ratio?
The maximum it will ever be is 12 to 1.   However, it is closer to 4 to 1 with the college staff coaches who are hired to assist Tracy.  And when guest coaches come in the ratio is even lower!

      17. Can students commute to camp?
No. Due to the intense nature of the week, the camp has been designed to be exclusively residential. This will assure that students get the most out of their experience.

      18. How much is the camp?
        $1400

      19. How do students apply?
First download and print the application, then mail the completed paperwork, with your deposit, to Dynasty Goalkeeping, P.O. Box 595, Carrboro, NC 27510. Enrollment will only be secured when both the completed application and the $350 non-refundable deposit are received.

      20. Is there a registration deadline?
We have not set a deadline for registration; however, due to the limited number of spaces available, you are encouraged to register as early as possible. We will continue to accept applications until all camps are full (12 students per week).

      21. When is the balance due?
All balances are due in full by June 1st. If you are applying after June 1st, you must send the full tuition with your application.

If you are 14 years old or younger you can apply for the “Mary Jennings Sport Camp Scholarship Fund” through the National Association for Girl’s and Women in Sport at: http://www.aahperd.org/nagws/template.cfm?template=MJ_main.htm.  You must apply before February 15th.  Also, many students have been able to receive financial assistance from their club teams.

      23. Does Dynasty Goalkeeping have a cancellation policy?
Yes. All cancellations must be received in writing and will result in a camp credit for all fees paid, valid through 2009. If a student must leave camp early for medical reasons, the portion of time missed from camp, less the deposit, can be used as credit to attend Dynasty Goalkeeper Academy in 2009. This camp credit is transferable to a family member and may be used for any Dynasty Goalkeeping Academy sessions. No credit will be issued upon expulsion or voluntary withdrawal from camp. We reserve the right to handle all refunds on an individual basis.

      24. Can students come to camp early?
Early check-in can be arranged for students coming from the west coast and other unavoidable situations. There will be a $50 fee for the additional evening in the dormitory. Students will be responsible for purchasing their own meals until camp starts (the 1st meal on Day 1 is dinner). The staff will assist them in obtaining their meals if the cafeteria is not open.

      25. What if a student has to arrive late or leave early?
This is something that is never ideal. From the minute students arrive, to the time they check out, they will be covering large amounts of information designed to help them succeed. There will be no refunds, nor will tuition be pro-rated, for these situations.

      26. Can students leave during camp?
Attending this camp is a significant time and financial commitment. Therefore, if a player has a reason to leave during the week, such as a game, we would certainly honor that commitment. If it is absolutely necessary for a player to leave, please be aware that students will only be able to leave with a properly identified parent or guardian, and this request must be noted in writing at registration. Students must check-out with a camp staff member prior to departure and check-in upon arrival back on campus. There are no refunds or partial refunds for early departure unless due to a medical reason. All medical dismissals must be documented by the Director, and the portion of time missed from camp, less the deposit, can be used as credit to attend Dynasty Goalkeeper Academy in 2009. As previously mentioned this camp credit is transferable to a family member and may be used for any Dynasty Goalkeeping Academy sessions.

Yes. Please contact Tracy directly if you would like to set up team, group, or individual training.

Reservations made within 15 days of the camp may be subject to an additional charge of $25.

      34. My daughter will be flying to NC, what time should she arrive and depart from RDU Airport?
If your daughter is coming in the evening prior to the 1st day of camp it is suggested that she arrive in the early evening (5-7p). If she is arriving on the 1st day of camp then it would be best for her to arrive in the morning (9-11a). Her departure on the last day of camp should be in the early afternoon (2-4p).

      35. Where will my daughter be picked up and dropped off at the airport?
Due to the increased security measures at the airport it is impossible for us to meet students at the gate. Your daughter will be picked up at the baggage claim area of her flight. She will be met by a staff member who will be wearing a Dynasty Goalkeeping polo. On the final day of camp she will be dropped off at the curbside check-in of her airline.
